Deer Park Building Update – October 2016

Following the submission of the planning application for our permanent location at Ryde House, we are grateful for all the work you have done to drum up support.  There are now 232 supporters on the councils’ comments section compared to 55 objections: over four to one in favour.   This is excellent news and strongly supports the planning application. If you are yet to lodge your support (or are able to encourage others to do so) then please follow this link https://goo.gl/qhJBzj where you can make your comments.

The planning application is still being considered by the planning officers and they have requested additional information from Lidl specifically over transport issues.  They have also requested some amendments to the design of the building. The planning application is now likely to be considered at the meeting of 25th January at York House, Richmond Road, Twickenham TW1 3AA. Please keep these dates in your diary as your attendance at these meetings is crucial to persuade councillors of the need for the school.  We will of course write again when we know the exact date.

We will of course provide you with further information once we have received it.

If you haven’t already seen it, Lidl have created a 3D model of the permanent site available to view here  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G400DyCz4lo
